“Mosaic-fy”: 2D Image to 3D Mosaic Generator

As my Senior Capstone project at the University of Pennsylvania, I explored mosaic generation in the field of computer graphics and built a SideFX Houdini Digital Asset (HDA) that can convert 2D imagery into 3D mosaic models. The generator currently supports two styles of mosaic: tessarae (stone/ceramic tiles) mosaics and quilling, a form of paper mosaic.
