Office Destroyer
Role: Producer and Designer | Software: Unity and Photoshop
Office Destroyer is a reimagining of the popular retro arcade game Asteroids into an office environment. The game introduces new office-themed features and obstacles, such as spilling coffee cups, stapler guns, and scissors, as the player attempts to maneuver around as a small paper-clip-slinging paper airplane. Will you prevail over the chaos or will you succumb to the dreary boredom of your menial, white collar, office job?
This game was created at NHSGA @ Carnegie Mellon University in the span of one-week! At this game design program, I touched Unity for the very first time and learned all about game design, from building assets to designing features. For this game, I was chosen by the program head as a “Game Producer” to lead game production with a team of programmers and sound designers, while overseeing the visual look.
I created every art asset in Adobe Photoshop myself, ranging from the main menu to every individual animation. I implemented these assets into the Unity game engine (setting up Rigidbodies, colliders, etc.) for the programmers to utilize.
