Cell Corps

Role: Producer and Designer | Software: Unity and Photoshop

Cell Corps is an original 2D mobile game made on Unity, where you play as a squadron of amoeba-like cells to fight viruses in the body! While loosely based on human biology, Cell Corps includes several biological features, such as blood clots in the first heart-inspired level and synapses in the second brain-inspired level. The main attack mechanic of the game is to combine and divide, picking up the orange organelles along the way to become stronger. Will you be able to save your human from falling ill or will the viruses prevail?

This game was created at the NHSGA Program @ Carnegie Mellon University. For this game, I was chosen by the program head as a “Game Producer” to lead game production with a team of programmers and sound designers, while overseeing the visual look. After pitching three unique ideas to the program staff, we settled on this idea and created this mobile game from scratch in just two weeks!

I created every art asset in Adobe Photoshop myself, ranging from the main menu to every individual animation. I implemented these assets into the Unity game engine (setting up Rigidbodies, colliders, etc.) for the programmers to utilize.

Demo Video for Cell Corps, featuring unique amoeba-inspired player physics and attack mechanics.
